Laetitia Casagrande
In 2008 Laetitia completed her degree in Fashion Design at AFOL MODA in Milan, followed by bespoke tailor training for two years with some of Milan’s top tailors.
Laetitia excelled in the industry training in a typical Italian bespoke atelier called Rofena. Dedicating her time to sewing jackets, trousers, waist coats and coats by hand. After some time the focus was narrowed down to pattern making, specifically. She completed a course with Sir G.Marangoni, one of the pioneers of Italian industrial pattern making.
In 2011 she begun a full time internship for Vionnet Paris in Milan Italy as a pattern maker, her increasing knowledge and experience led her to her next role in a studio affiliated with brands such as Valentino, Versace, Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Tod’s and more.
After moving overseas, Laetitia’s desire to follow her passion led her to open a small tailoring business in Japan in 2020, Nuu Studio was born, and straight away gained popularity among local businesses applying her craft.
